CHAPTERCHAPTER 1PURPOSE
1.1. Purpose. This document, Apollo Empire Instruction (AEI) 26-1, Membership Terms of Use, is the comprehensive Terms of Use for The Empire of Apollo (TEOA). It outlines the rules and obligations governing membership in TEOA and the use of all TEOA platforms (including our websites, game servers, Discord, and any related services). By using or participating in any TEOA platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, and to the accompanying AEI 26-101, Privacy Policy, which together form a legally binding agreement between you (as a member/user) and The Empire of Apollo.
Because we have members globally, this policy is designed to meet statutory obligations and transparency requirements under various laws worldwide (for example, the EU GDPR, the California CCPA, and other data protection laws). We are committed to disclosing and enforcing all necessary terms to protect both the community and our members' rights.
CHAPTERCHAPTER 2TERMS OF USE
2.1. Acceptance of Terms.
By creating an account or using any TEOA service, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Use and will abide by them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use TEOA platforms. We may update or modify these terms from time to time and will notify users of any material changes. Continued use of TEOA services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2.1.1. The Empire of Apollo Revised Code: By accepting these terms you agree to abide by the Empire of Apollo Revised Code which focuses on the items the Empire of Apollo deems as "criminal actions against the Empire of Apollo" as well as establishes the formal governance of the Empire of Apollo to include the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches.
2.1.2. Apollo Empire Instructions: By accepting these terms, you agree to abide by the Apollo Empire Instructions. Whereas the Revised Code establishes the code for governance, The Apollo Empire Instructions dictate the who and how those requirements are executed and are used to maintain social order and standards.
2.2. Eligibility and Age Requirements.
TEOA's services are intended for a general audience but not for children under 13 years of age. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or participate in TEOA platforms. This restriction ensures compliance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
2.3. Member Conduct and Acceptable Use.
As a member of The Empire of Apollo, you agree to maintain a standard of conduct that keeps our community safe, respectful, and legal. All users must adhere to the following:
2.3.1. Obey the Law: You must not use TEOA platforms for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms.
2.3.2. Respect Others: Harassment, hate speech, bullying, and discrimination of any kind are strictly forbidden. Treat all members with respect.
2.3.3. No Unauthorized Activities: You shall not attempt to hack, DDOS, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the normal functioning and security of TEOA systems.
2.3.4. No Infringing or Harmful Content: Do not post or share content that you do not have the rights to use, including copyrighted material or trademarked assets belonging to others.
2.3.5. Truthful Information: Provide accurate information when creating your account. Do not impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation.
2.3.6. No Spam or Unauthorized Advertising: You may not use TEOA platforms to send spam, unwanted promotional messages, or pyramid schemes.
2.3.7. Enforcement: TEOA may issue warnings, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts that violate the above rules or otherwise engage in misuse of the service. Minor infractions will be handled through The Empire of Apollo's in-house Judicial System. Major issues will be handled by appropriate law enforcement or civil authorities.
2.4. Virtual Goods, Purchases, and Rewards.
TEOA offers digital goods and membership perks across various platforms. We maintain a central database of user information and entitlements to ensure that you receive all the items and benefits you have paid for or earned from any TEOA platform.
2.4.1. Payment and Delivery: You agree to pay any applicable fees for the goods or membership perks. TEOA will credit the purchased or earned items to your account and make them available to you in the relevant platform(s).
2.4.2. No Cash Value & Non-Transferability: Digital goods and rewards in TEOA are virtual in nature and have no cash value outside of our platforms. They may be sold, transferred, or gifted to other members of TEOA in accordance with The Empire of Apollo Revised Code Title 11 Commercial Transactions.
2.4.3. All Sales Final (Refund Policy): Unless required by law or stated otherwise, purchases of digital items are non-refundable. We will review refund requests in extenuating circumstances (such as accidental duplicate purchase or technical error), but generally all sales are final for digital content.
2.4.4. Subscription Billing: If your membership perks involve a recurring subscription, you will be billed on a periodic basis as described at the time of purchase. Subscriptions may auto-renew by default. You can cancel future renewals at any time by providing notice via our support channels before the next billing cycle. You must contact support a minimum of 3 business days prior to the next billing cycle to avoid triggering the All Sales Final terms.
2.4.5. Earned Rewards: Earned items may be transferred, sold, or gifted to other TEOA members in accordance with The Empire of Apollo Revised Code Title 11 Commercial Transactions. Earned ranks are non-transferable and possess no value other than cosmetic, loyalty, and eligibility for promotion in accordance with AEI 26-2 and AEI 26-604.
2.4.6. Forfeiture on Breach: If your account is terminated due to a violation of these terms, you may lose access to any virtual goods or membership perks without compensation.
2.5. Intellectual Property Rights.
All content and materials provided by The Empire of Apollo — including but not limited to the TEOA name and logo, website content, design, software, and any proprietary information — are the intellectual property of TEOA or its licensors. These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use TEOA's name, logos, or content except as permitted by us in writing.
2.5.1. User-Generated Content: You retain any copyright you hold in your original content. By posting or submitting content on our platforms, you grant TEOA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate the services or promote the community.
2.5.2. Copyright Infringement Policy: TEOA respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that any content on a TEOA service infringes your copyright, please notify us with a takedown request including sufficient detail to identify the infringing content. Upon receiving a valid infringement notice, TEOA will promptly remove or disable access to the offending content. Repeated copyright infringers will have their accounts terminated.
2.6. Disclaimers of Warranty.
The Empire of Apollo provides all services, platforms, and content "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind. TEOA disclaims all warranties and representations, whether express or implied. We make no warranty that our platforms will be available on an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free basis.
2.7. Limitation of Liability.
Under no circumstances will The Empire of Apollo or its staff be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of TEOA platforms or services. TEOA's aggregate liability for any and all claims shall not exceed the total amount you paid to TEOA in the past twelve (12) months, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
2.8. Indemnification.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Empire of Apollo, its founders, administrators, moderators, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses that arise out of or relate to: (a) your violation of these Terms of Use or any applicable law, (b) your misuse of TEOA platforms or services, or (c) your infringement of someone else's rights through TEOA.
2.9. Termination of Accounts.
TEOA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for any violation of these terms or if we suspect misuse, fraud, or behavior that could harm TEOA or its members. Termination may be temporary (suspension) or permanent, depending on the severity and frequency of violations. To the maximum extent possible, all punitive actions will be handled through TEOA's Judicial System.
2.10. Changes to this Instruction.
TEOA may modify or update this instruction from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our practices, or for legal reasons. When we make material changes, we will post the updated instruction on our website and will announce the changes via our Discord in the Headquarters Announcements Channel. Changes will not be retroactive — they will become effective no sooner than 30 days after posting.
2.11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought exclusively in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Ohio.
We are a community-oriented organization and encourage members to reach out to us first to resolve any issues informally. We do not currently require arbitration or a class-action waiver.
2.12. Miscellaneous Provisions.
2.12.1. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
2.12.2. No Waiver: If TEOA does not enforce a provision of these Terms in some instance, it does not mean we waive our right to enforce it in the future.
2.12.3. Entire Agreement: These Terms of Use (along with AEI 26-101 Privacy Policy, the Empire of Apollo Revised Code, and Apollo Empire Instructions) constitute the entire agreement between you and The Empire of Apollo regarding your use of our services.
2.12.4. Assignment: You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
2.12.5. No Third-Party Beneficiaries: These Terms do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights. The agreement is between you and TEOA solely.
